The Voice of the Youth for Peace and Orderliness (VYPO) is an association which aims to promote peace in Mindanao, Sulu, Palawan and elsewhere in the Philippines through religious, academic and socio-civic programs. It was established by the active former student leaders of Sultan Kudarat Islamic Academy-SKIA (www.skiaonline.com), Sultan Kudarat, Shariff Kabunsuan batch 2006 headed by Hamodi Lao Tiboron. Various programs of SKIA and seminars and training outside of the campus had given Mr. Tiboron and his company much awareness of the present situation in the country which made them decide to establish an association that will facilitate youth involvement in undertaking appropriate actions to reduce various societal problems. Thus, in collaboration with the Preparatory Military Training and Student Body Organization officers and Special Science Class IV students of the said institution, Mr. Tiboron had successfully launched VYPO on June, 2005 in the Vocational Technology Building, which was witnessed by the SKIA Administration headed by Datu Ismael V. Mastura including the faculty and students.
